To keep our youth hockey program affordable for families, we offer season-long rental equipment for $100 per player. Equipment rental is free for all Learn to Play participants. All rental equipment is by appointment only and is scheduled through our scheduling software (use button below).
Because our equipment room is staffed by volunteers, rentals are availalble by appointment only and begin in late August. Please be respectful of our volunteers’ time and contact your equipment volunteer if you need to reschedule your appointment.
Rental Equipment Includes
- Skates
- Helmet
- Shoulder pads
- Elbow pads
- Gloves
- Hockey pants
- Shin guards
- Equipment bag
Players must provide:
- Neck laceration protection
- Athletic supporter/jill
- Water bottle
- Hockey socks
Equipment Swap Facebook Group
The Missoula Bruins Hockey Buy/Sell/Trade Facebook group is a private community, moderated by a parent volunteer, where local hockey families can buy, sell, or trade new and gently used equipment. Membership is limited to Missoula Bruins families and requires approval to join.
Please Note:
- This group is not intended for substitute player requests or lesson promotions.
- All transactions and equipment pickup are arranged directly between buyers and sellers.
- Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association is not responsible for transactions or exchanges between members. This space is simply a tool for our families to support one another in a safe, trustworthy environment
- Equipment may not be left at the rink front desk or skate shop.
