As a nonprofit organization, Glacier Ice Rink relies on sponsorships and advertising to offset our operational costs of providing recreational ice sports activities for our community. As a sponsor, you can reach thousands of skaters, players, and spectators who visit the rink regularly each year. Sponsorship payments may be tax-deductible and include the options below:
Reach participants and spectators alike with rink signage. Standard placement options include scoreboard banners, dasher board ads and signs above the players’ benches. Most advertising options are available on either the inside rink or the outside rink and include additional benefits such as skating passes and discounts on ice rentals. Other locations are also available, including locker rooms, bathrooms and hallways.
Rink advertising ranges from $525 (outside rink) to $3,500 (inside rink) per year.
Youth Hockey Sponsorships
Nearly 600 youth of all ages and abilities participate in our hockey programs each year. Whether they’re starting out in our Learn to Play Hockey program or competing on one of our travel teams, these young athletes gain valuable sportsmanship skills, stay physically fit, and most of all, have fun! Sponsorships are available for our house teams and travel teams. Benefits include your name on team jerseys and inclusion in our pre-tournament email sent to participants in all youth hockey tournaments during the season.
Youth team sponsorships are $600 (house) or $800 (travel) per season.
We offer public skating sessions throughout the year that attract an average of 100 people per weekend session during the winter. In addition to our regular sessions, we hold special events to draw a larger audience and provide additional entertainment experiences. These include Spooky Skate (October), Santa Skate (December) and Sweetheart Skate (February) as well as smaller theme nights. Sponsorships of these events include admission passes and inclusion in all promotion of the event.
Event sponsorships are $250 (theme night) or $500 (special event).
