2021-2022 Glacier Hockey League Winter Season

The Glacier Hockey League (GHL) winter season has nine divisions to accommodate players of varying skill levels.  Players register either as part of a team or as a free agent (instructions below). Team jerseys are provided for the winter season, or teams may provide their own jerseys.

Nights and divisions are subject to change, based on registration numbers.


Schedule

The season begins November 7, 2021 and runs for 15 weeks.  All teams will have 14 regular season games and 1 guaranteed playoff game. Winning teams will continue to advance through the playoffs until they’re eliminated or declared GHL Champions.  Playoff division finals are a best-of-three series and will completed by Spring Break.

Games are not played over Thanksgiving (November 25 & 26), the Christmas break (December 19-January 1) and Superbowl Sunday (Sunday, February 13).


Cost

Players: $300

A winter payment plan will be available to those with s stored credit card on file for a $15 fee. Initial down payment is $100. Two additional $100 payments will be processed November 7, 2021 and January 2, 2022.

Goalies: $150

Each registration fee includes a $10 capital improvement fund fee that goes towards future rink improvement projects.

All players must register with USA Hockey to play in the league. You cannot register for the league without a USA Hockey number.


Register

Online registration opens September 20, 2021 for returning teams and players. Each team has a designated captain who can “invite” specific players to their team. Players may also make a “team request” within the Dash Platform. With the captain’s approval, such players will be added to that roster. Players will also have the option to register as a “free agent”.  Free agents will be rostered after Draft Night (Captains only).
