November 8 update

The season has started! To comply with current health department regulations, only 11 skaters and a goalie may dress for each game. Please see our COVID-19 policies for our current operating procedures.

Registrations will be accepted where there is space. Please contact Ryan Geiges with any questions.

The Glacier Hockey League (GHL) winter season has nine divisions to accommodate players of varying skill levels.  Players register either as part of a team or as a free agent (instructions below). Team jerseys are provided for the winter season, or teams may provide their own jerseys.

2020-2021 Schedule

Winter league begins November 1, 2020 and runs 13 weeks through February 2021, with single-elimination playoffs following. Playoff division finals are a best-of-three series and will completed by March 11. Games are not played over Thanksgiving (November 25 & 26), the Christmas break (December 20-January 2) and Superbowl Sunday (Sunday, February 7).

Players: $280

Payment plans will be available for a $20 fee. Half the amount ($137.50) is due at the time of registration and the remaining balance ($162.50) will be charged on January 3, 2021.

Goalies: $115

Each registration fee includes a $5 capital improvement fund fee that goes towards future rink improvement projects.

All players must register with USA Hockey to play in the league. You cannot register for the league without a USA Hockey number.

Registration is only available online. Registration opens September 28 (returning teams will receive team registration code from captain). To register for a team, register as a “player” using your code. If you don’t have a code, register as a “free agent.”

See our Financial Policies for information on registration refunds.

Team sponsors are still needed for the winter season! Sponsors help offset the cost of operating the league, which keeps costs down for players. If you know of a business who might be interested in sponsoring, contact Laura.
