Glacier Ice Rink and the Glacier Hockey League host four USA Hockey sanctioned adult tournaments during the season. Tournaments have a four-game guarantee and run Friday evening through Sunday afternoon of tournament weekends.
Halloween Challenge
October 24-26, 2025
The Halloween Challenge kicks off the hockey season with two divisions: REC (higher level) and Intermediate CO-REC (lower level). Team costumes are encouraged and will be judged on Saturday.

Flying Mules Hockey Festival
January 16-18, 2026
The Flying Mules Hockey Festival is held over Martin Luther King weekend and is Montana’s longest-running adult hockey tournament. Tournament includes Open, Rec, 35+ and Women’s divisions.

Missoula Spring Thaw
April 24-26, 2026
The Missoula Spring Thaw is an co-rec tournament geared toward novice and intermediate players, with lawn games and barbecues on Saturday.
