Open Figure Skating Sessions

Open figure skating sessions allow figure skaters to practice advanced moves such as jumps and spins. Sessions are 1.25 hours in length and attendance is capped at 22 skaters. Advance online registration is highly recommended and skaters must check in with staff upon arrival.

Memberships begin at $50 for the year and offer discounted admission and other benefits. Punch cards are available in either 5 or 10 punches. Both may purchased online. See our membership page for more information.



Search for event type “public session” on the schedule and look for open figure skating.


These sessions are limited for advanced-level skaters. Recreational skaters should attend a public skating session.


Glacier Ice Rink has switched to a new recreation software system, Dash. Dash will allow our customers to view the rink schedule and register for public and hockey programs through an easier-to-use website and mobile app.

All registrations will be handled online through the Dash platform site.You will need to create an account and complete a waiver before registering. See our Dash information page for a step-by-step guide on how to create an account.
