2021 Open Figure Skating Sessions

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, open figure skating sessions are one-hour in length and capped at 20 skaters. Pre-registration and payment is required. Cost is $8 per skater, and punch cards are not accepted.

See the master schedule for session dates and times and register through our online registration page. You will need to make an account and check-in with staff when you arrive for your session. Online registration opens on Sunday for the week and closes one hour prior to the session.

Masks are required in all areas, including while skating. See our COVID Policies for full details on our COVID-19 operations.

Missoula Figure Skating Club

The Missoula Figure Skating Club (MFSC) supports figure skating in Missoula and offers club membership for skaters who want to develop their skills. The Club offers several hours of exclusive “Club Ice” every month where skaters can practice jumps, spins and other moves safely on less crowded ice.

For beginning skaters, the club offers a series of Learn to Skate USA classes throughout the year. These classes teach basic skating, figure, hockey and adult-tailored classes. Classes have qualified skating instructors with a 10 to 1 ratio of students to instructors.

Open Figure Skating

If you want time to practice your skating, or you’re not an MFSC member, Glacier Ice Rink offers open figure skating sessions during the week. These sessions allow skaters to practice jumps and spins, which isn’t allowed during public skate sessions. See the public skating schedule for specific dates and times.
