Pre-Season Power Skating

Sharpen your blades then sharpen your skating skills! Join local power skating coach Ryan Yearous for four weeks of technique to help you feel more comfortable on the ice. We’ll build on skills each week covering the fundamentals of stride, stops, starts, edges, crossovers, transitions, and putting it all together! Clinic is designed for novice to intermediate level players. Limited to 20 participants.

Ryan Yearous has been coaching Power Skating and Figure Skating in Missoula for 20 years. He grew up figure skating in Minnesota and picked up hockey upon moving out to attend UM. Teaching power skating and playing hockey at a special place like GIR has been a tremendous joy. He currently serves as President of the GIR/MAYHA Board of Directors.
