Are you brand new to hockey? Have you been playing in Novice but feel you are not progressing the way you should?
Whether you are new to hockey, or have had a few years on your skates, the Adult Development League may be just the program you are looking for!
When we play in games, we do not get to focus and work on certain skills to become a better hockey player. There may be other people skating around in our way we need to avoid, we are too focused on playing good positioning, or we just don’t get the touches we need in order to get better.
This program is designed to take it back to the basics and develop less experienced adult players in the areas of skating, stickhandling, puck control and shooting on a regular basis. We will be using principles taught in ‘Learn to Skate’ and ‘Learn to Play Hockey’ to truly build a foundation to progress upon. We will do stations, play small games and scrimmages throughout the sessions.
This program will begin Fall 2019 and then consist of three different sessions (about 8 weeks each) throughout the season.
The ‘Intro to GHL Development League’ is a test run of this program that will begin this June and consist of three different classes on a weekly basis (June 3, 10, 17 from 7-8pm). Cost is only $30!
