YOUNG SKATERS
A Glacier Ice Rink favorite for years!
The Glacier Ice Rink’s Young Skaters program is a wonderful and affordable way for kids to try ice skating for the first time; or practice their skating skills as they zip around the huge ice surface.
The Young Skater program allows children (usually around 3-6 years old) to get out on the ice with mom, dad, brother, sister, grandparent, or just a friend and have a great time ice skating. There are “walkers” available to assist the real beginners until they can stay up on their own. Then they can cruise around the ice having a blast. The Young Skaters hour is a great time to have a lot of open ice for kids to play games and goof around.
The Glacier Ice Rink skates of all sizes to rent for kids and adults at the skate shop. There are hockey skates and figure skates available. Young Skaters is the most fun for your money you will find in Missoula.
The Glacier Ice Rink does require that everyone on the ice wears skates. Helmets are recommended for all beginners and are available at no charge.
Young skater skate rental and admission: $2
Chaperone (one per child) skate rental and admission: $3
