Young Skaters
Beginning November 13th
In the skate shop you'll find a skate that fits just right - then you are headed for the ice. A volunteer is usually available to welcome you as you step across the "boards" and onto a sheet of ice that is...well, really big! There are a limited number of walkers for you to get your balance, get moving and have fun! Glacier Ice Rink is a great place to learn to skate.
The Young Skaters Program is for preschool children (approx. ages 3-6) - we encourage young skaters to bring a parent, grandparent or Big Brother or Big Sister to skate with them.
All chaperones and kids are required to wear skates on the ice. No strollers are allowed. We recommend that all young skaters wear helmets, which are available at no charge.
