Coaching Applications

COACHES

MAYHA is accepting applications for travel and house league coaches for the 2010-11 season. If you are interested, please fill out the application below and return it to the Glacier Ice Rink office or email to gary@glaciericerink.com If you have questions, contact Gary Jahrig at 880-9007 or gary@glaciericerink.com  Coaching clinic information is posted below.

 Coach's Application         

 In order to coach on the ice or on the bench for all levels of youth hockey, you must be certified by USA Hockey.
 
The Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association will host coaching certification clinics on the following days:
 
Level 1 CEP Clinic - Sept 11 -  10am – 6pm
Participants should bring a laptop if available, writing materials, as well as skates, hockey gloves, helmet, shin guards, and elbow pads (for the on-ice portion of the clinic).  There will be no lunch nor treats, so bring your own drinks and plan on preparing for your own lunch.  The clinic will be held out-doors under the roof of the out–door rink at the Glacier Ice Rink in Missoula MT, so dress accordingly for the weather. (Required for mite travel and all levels of house league).
 
Level 2 CEP Clinic - Sept 12 -  10am – 6pm
Participants should bring a laptop if available, writing materials, as well as skates, hockey gloves, helmet, shin guards, and elbow pads (for the on-ice portion of the clinic).  There will be no lunch nor treats, so bring your own drinks and plan on preparing for your own lunch.  The clinic will be held out-doors under the roof of the out–door rink at the Glacier Ice Rink in Missoula MT, so dress accordingly for the weather. (Required for squirt travel).
 
Level 3  CEP Clinic – October 9 -  10am – 6pm
Participants should bring a laptop if available, writing materials, as well as skates, hockey gloves, helmet, shin guards, and elbow pads (for the on-ice portion of the clinic).  There will be no lunch nor treats, so bring your own drinks and plan on preparing for your own lunch.  The clinic will be held out-doors under the roof of the out–door rink at the Glacier Ice Rink in Missoula MT, so dress accordingly for the weather. (Required for peewee, bantam, high school travel).
