MISSOULA HOCKEY PLAYER SELECTED FOR NATIONAL CAMP
Paige Maul, a 14-year-old Missoula youth hockey player, has been selected to take part this
summer in USA Hockey’s national camp.
Maul, an eighth grader at Meadow Hill Middle School, was one of only two forwards selected from the Northern Rockies District to participate in the national camp in Rochester, New York, which will be held July 8-14. The Northern Rockies District is made up of players from Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Maul was picked to attend the national camp based on his performance at the Northern Rockies regional camp held earlier this month in Minot, N.D. Maul, who had 8 goals and 3 assists in 3 games at the regional camp, is the first boy from Missoula to ever advance to the national camp. |

|
At the national camp, Maul will be joined by select players from the other 12 districts that comprise USA Hockey. | Maul has played for Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association teams since he was 6 years old. This past season, he was the captain of the Missoula Bruins Bantam A team that won the state championship. Maul had 98 points in 45 games for the Bruins. |
Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association (MAYHA)
is a Montana registered non-profit corporation that was created in the fall of 1996 by parents and supporters of Missoula's youth hockey teams. MAYHA competes in the Montana Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) which is a member of USA Hockey.
