G.I.R./MAYHA ADVERTISING
The Glacier Ice Rink (G.I.R) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located within the Western Montana Fairgrounds in Missoula, Montana. The rink is home to many user groups including the Missoula Maulers Jr A hockey team which hosts 24+ home games and has an average attendance of 1,200 for each game. G.I.R. is also is the only facility in Montana that has two rinks. The rink's adult recreational leagues contain over 900 registered players along with over 350 youth hockey players enrolled in our youth programs. The G.I.R. also hosts over a dozen hockey tournaments as well as hockey camps and figure skating shows each year with local teams and teams as far away as Alaska. In the 2010-2011 season, nearly 150,000 people visited the G.I.R. for various programs and events. G.I.R. also rents the facility for non-ice events each year from May to August including the Western Montana Fair. Currently over 100 businesses have taken advantage of our advertising options. We offer various opportunitities to advertise including..in ice, dasher board, wall signs, website and Zamboni ads. With the cost of hockey on the rise, MAYHA has more requests than ever for youth hockey scholarships.
