Learn to Play Hockey

Glacier Ice Rink, through the Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association (MAYHA), offers a Learn to Play Hockey program for children ages four and up who want to begin playing ice hockey. Kids learn the basic skills of the game – skating, stick handling, passing and shooting – in a fun environment. Each session is four weeks long and kids can participate in multiple sessions.

Skating experience is helpful, but not necessary, as skate aids (walkers) are available for those who need them. If your child needs more focus on skating, you can enroll in the Missoula Figure Skating Club's Learn to Skate program before participating in this one.
