Kids of all ages can lace up some skates and pick up a hockey stick without paying a dime on Saturday, Feb. 25 as the Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association hosts Try Hockey for Free Day at Glacier Ice Rink.


The USA Hockey sponsored event will run from 8:45-9:45 a.m. and is open to boys and girls ages 4 through high school. Participants will be outfitted with full hockey gear, also at no charge. All skaters will receive a free USA Hockey jersey. Visit the Try Hockey for Free website to register.


Try Hockey for Free is part of Hockey Week Across America, which celebrates the game of hockey and those involved at all levels.
